Reading Macbeth Act 1 Scene 5                                                          Flowers don’t look like they are going to harm/hurt you. They are calm and graceful. They described it as it is harmless.

Most serpents look like they are going to hurt you, as a lot of them are large and, the thing that scares people the is the weird way it moves. In a way people can be stereotypical and think all snakes/serpents are poisonous.

This scene starts with Duncan talking about what is around him. It then carries on with Lady Macbeth entering. she asked questions. She also talks to the attendant. She then explains the great news. Then enters Macbeth. He addresses Lady Macbeth as Great Glamis. He says that Duncan will be coming the next day.

“Great Glamis, worthy Cawdor”.
